When I launched my first program, it was all about quitting alcohol, and while we had a lot of wins, something felt off. There was this subtle undercurrent of judgment—sometimes directed inward, sometimes outward, whether people drank, didn’t drink, or fell somewhere in between. We were focused on what alcohol took away, what it cost us, and over time, that perspective felt limiting. The program became about managing a loss rather than discovering something new, and the zest for life, the spark I wanted to ignite, just wasn’t there.
And then it hit me.
If I had the power to create this program to begin with, I sure as hell have the power to change it. And thus, Drytality was born.
With Drytality, I wanted something different – something alive, something that could really make people feel. I don’t want it to be a place people come to “give up” alcohol. I want it to be a place where people find something real and beautiful that makes alcohol feel small in comparison. I want it to be a space where we celebrate everything around us, where people discover all the incredible, sometimes hidden, sometimes messy parts of life that they can fully embrace, without booze.
Drytality isn’t here to make anyone feel like they have to surrender or give up something essential to have a good time. It’s about finding the things that make life exciting, raw, and memorable. It’s about making room for the magic and joy of life without needing anything to boost or numb it. I want Drytality to be that place where people come to connect deeply, laugh freely, and revel in the everyday adventures that come from being fully present.
In Drytality, we’re not about quitting or giving up – we’re about thriving, laughing, and leaning into life with everything we have. So, this is for everyone who wants to explore, to discover their own power and capacity for joy, and to create memories that last. Let’s live it up – every messy, beautiful, wild moment of it.
Live Fun. Live Wild.
XO,
Sarah
