Whether you're celebrating National Talk Like a Pirate Day or embarking on a Pirates of the Caribbean movie marathon, we've got the perfect treasure trove of non-alcoholic drinks to keep your spirits high. From fruity punches to tropical delights, these alcohol-free versions of classic pirate cocktails are sure to please buccaneers of all ages.


Our favorite rum alternatives to try are: for dark rums, give Monday Rum, Lyre's Dark Cane Spirit, or Ritual Non-Alcoholic Rum Alternative a shot; for light rum, try Lyre's White Cane Spirit; and for coconut rum, Beckett's '27 Coconut Rum Non-Alcoholic Spirit is a must.


So grab your eye patch, gather your crew, and prepare to set sail on a flavor-filled adventure with these delicious and refreshing mocktails that are bound to make your pirate festivities unforgettable. Arrr, let's get mixing!


1. Pirate's Punch


A fruity and refreshing drink that's perfect for any pirate party.


Ingredients:


  • 1 oz alcohol-free dark rum

  • 1 oz alcohol-free light rum

  • 1 oz alcohol-free coconut rum

  • 1 oz orange juice

  • 1 oz pineapple juice

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • Splash of grenadine


Instructions:


  1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake well and strain into a glass filled with ice.

  3. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.


2. Dark 'n' Stormy


A classic and simple cocktail with a spicy kick.


Ingredients:


  • 2 oz non-alcoholic dark rum

  • 3 oz ginger beer

  • Lime wedge


Instructions:


  1. Fill a highball glass with ice.

  2. Pour the non-alcoholic dark rum over the ice.

  3. Top with ginger beer.

  4. Squeeze the lime wedge into the drink and drop it in.



3. Mai Tai


A tropical favorite with a complex flavor profile. Try adding 1 oz each of dark & light rum to kick it up a notch or keep it simple with juices.


Ingredients:


  • 1 oz orange juice

  • 1 oz pineapple juice

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • 1/8 teaspoon almond extract

  • 1/2 oz grenadine

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup

  • 2 oz sparkling water or club soda


Instructions:


1.      Combine the orange juice, pineapple juice, lime juice, almond syrup, grenadine, and simple syrup in a shaker with ice.

2.      Shake well to mix.

3.      Strain into a glass filled with ice.

4.      Top with sparkling water or club soda.

5.      Garnish with a lime wheel and a maraschino cherry.

 


4. Mojito


A refreshing and minty cocktail.


Ingredients:


  • 2 oz non-alcoholic white rum

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

  • 2 teaspoons sugar

  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves

  • Soda water

  • Lime wedge and mint sprig for garnish


Instructions:


  1. Muddle the mint leaves and sugar in a glass.

  2. Add the lime juice and non-alcoholic rum.

  3. Fill the glass with ice and top with soda water.

  4. Stir well and garnish with a lime wedge and mint sprig.



5. Zombie


A flavorful drink with a mix of non-alcoholic rums and juices.


Ingredients:


  • 1 1/2 oz non-alcoholic light rum

  • 1 1/2 oz non-alcoholic dark rum

  • 1 oz peach or apricot juice (use the syrup from a can of peaches or apricots for a thicker, bolder flavor)

  • 1/2 oz lime juice

  • 1/2 oz pineapple juice

  • 1/2 oz papaya juice (or orange juice)

  • Dash of grenadine


Instructions:


  1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake well and strain into a glass filled with ice.

  3. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.



6. Pina Colada


A creamy and tropical favorite.


Ingredients:


  • 2 oz non-alcoholic light rum

  • 1 oz coconut cream

  • 1 oz heavy cream

  • 6 oz fresh pineapple juice

  • 1/2 cup crushed ice


Instructions:


  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Pour into a chilled glass and garnish with a pineapple slice and a cherry.



7. Captain's Blood


A simple yet sophisticated mocktail.

  1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

  3. Garnish with a lime wheel.
